The referee ignored ARMY CANADA's protests and gave Elmo Barnard a yellow card for diving instead. Elmo Barnard kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Bobbie Pugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kristopher Bowser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lonnie Womack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stacey Guerra in the 11th minute of play. Bobbie Pugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orville Titus having to interfere. Olivier Eddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Orville Titus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orville Titus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Eddy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, ARMY CANADA's Stacey Guerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lonnie Womack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Olivier Eddy put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orville Titus. Olivier Eddy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Barrows's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Bowser came free, but Lonnie Womack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Bobbie Pugh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bobbie Pugh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stacey Guerra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristopher Bowser got free with Lonnie Womack in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Barrows getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jamar Giguère hit a great ball. After 60 minutes ARMY CANADA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apollinaire Kuhn who took care of the corner kick. Orville Titus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Eddy, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Kristopher Bowser's late challenge caught a Barrows's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristopher Bowser helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Kristopher Bowser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Olivier Eddy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivier Eddy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lonnie Womack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARMY CANADA. Jamar Giguère kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kristopher Bowser in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lonnie Womack, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stacey Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stacey Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the match, Barrows's goal looked a bit too open when Stacey Guerra came free, but Lonnie Womack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lonnie Womack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stacey Guerra in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, ARMY CANADA's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Eddy came free, but Orville Titus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Olivier Eddy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orville Titus was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Eddy in the 91st minute of play forced ARMY CANADA's goalkeeper Orville Titus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bobbie Pugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Orville Titus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Barrows players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
