One of Forward:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Commanda AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Commanda AFC's Kareem Vega got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gale Sutherland. Jean Sylvester hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Commanda AFC's Romain McNeal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Tessier in the 18th minute of play. Trent Hinkle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romain McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyman Frazier in the 26th minute of play. With his leg Gale Sutherland managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Commanda AFC's Emmett Lyons fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Trent Hinkle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Tessier struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Romain McNeal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forward. In the 43rd minute Sammy Tessier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain McNeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romain McNeal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Tessier in the 47th minute of the match. Lyman Frazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Romain McNeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sammy Tessier made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Commanda AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lyman AyotHayot hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Lyman Frazier made a precise shot to the right of Romain McNeal. Commanda AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 66 minutes into the game, Sammy Tessier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romain McNeal. Sammy Tessier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 74th minute Trent Hinkle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gale Sutherland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gale Sutherland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmett Lyons in the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 83 minutes, Sammy Tessier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Forward's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sammy Tessier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emmett Lyons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gale Sutherland having to interfere. Gale Sutherland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hinkle in the 90th minute of play. Romain McNeal made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Lyman Frazier sent off a good shot on target. Romain McNeal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lyman Frazier in the 96th minute.
