The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wings's Winford McClure got a free kick in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Stonewall AFC's Clement Wade broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 18 minutes, Donald Duran mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wings and the Stonewall AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Wings got a freekick which was hit by Donald Duran. Eldridge Burke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Land in the 18th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Mathew Arnold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stonewall AFC's Ronnie Starr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ronnie Starr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathew Arnold in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Wings's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amado Land fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mathew Arnold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Stonewall AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mathew Arnold came free, but Ronnie Starr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute, Mathew Arnold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 61st minute, Wings's Justin Callahan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronnie Starr. Ronnie Starr yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 65 minutes of play, Wings's Mathew Arnold made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronnie Starr was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th match minute, Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathew Arnold to maneuver through the defense. Mathew Arnold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ronnie Starr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathew Arnold got free with Ronnie Starr in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amado Land fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldridge Burke having to interfere.
