Jamar Giguère hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Colin Aubé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Womack having to interfere. Amado Land fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Womack having to interfere. If Bobbie Pugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lonnie Womack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Aubé in the 30th minute of play. Bobbie Pugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Barrows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olivier Eddy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colin Aubé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lonnie Womack having to interfere. Stonewall AFC's Ronnie Starr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivier Eddy in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Stonewall AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colin Aubé to maneuver through the defense. Lonnie Womack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Land in the 44th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Amado Land's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lonnie Womack was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Colin Aubé to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Stonewall AFC's Colin Aubé made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lonnie Womack was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barrows's Lonnie Womack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Barrows from getting a goal against them. Ronnie Starr didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Barrows's Olivier Eddy shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stonewall AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Apollinaire Kuhn was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrows's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Apollinaire Kuhn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ronnie Starr quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, Stonewall AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Eddy came free, but Ronnie Starr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Olivier Eddy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olivier Eddy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barrows getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jamar Giguère hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrows's goalkeeper Lonnie Womack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Bobbie Pugh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Starr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aimé Winters during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barrows booed when Stonewall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimé Winters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Starr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivier Eddy, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
