Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Tessier kicked off to start the match. Carl Ellis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes, Léopold Love mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winisk and the Forward players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Winisk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léopold Love to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Dwayne Bonneville in the 8th minute of play was well struck, but Bryce McBride made a really good save at the right post. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Forward:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Winisk:s goal. Mitchel Charpie shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Sammy Tessier struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Bryce McBride didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forward. Bryce McBride made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Tessier in the 29th minute of play. Gale Sutherland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elijah Edwards, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Forward getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Jarod LeBatelier hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Carl Ellis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Winisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Ellis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Patrick Meeks came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Winisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Meeks couldn't finish the play. If Carl Ellis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lyman Frazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 53rd play minute Léopold Love came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gale Sutherland. 0-1. Elijah Edwards recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Winisk's Carl Ellis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gale Sutherland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Elijah Edwards took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gale Sutherland to make any attempt to save it. Elijah Edwards fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gale Sutherland having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Elijah Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gale Sutherland was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Forward's goalkeeper Gale Sutherland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Ellis. A collision led to Forward getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jeremy Snyder hit a great ball. Winisk's Mitchel Charpie couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Forward. After a defensive mix-up in Forward's zone, Elijah Edwards stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gale Sutherland came out of the goal and Elijah Edwards tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
