The attack was good, but when Emmett Lyons in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 12th minute, Amado Land got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Land might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romain McNeal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Land ran back to his position shaking his head. If Colin Aubé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trent Hinkle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emmett Lyons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Starr having to interfere. Romain McNeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Aubé in the 27th minute of play. Amado Land sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Land blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romain McNeal having to make a save. Stonewall AFC's Ronnie Starr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trent Hinkle in the 34th minute of play. Aimé Winters charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aimé Winters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, Stonewall AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aimé Winters to maneuver through the defense. Lyman AyotHayot kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Emmett Lyons could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Ronnie Starr however easily saved by the left post. Emmett Lyons's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Ronnie Starr skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ronnie Starr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trent Hinkle, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Emmett Lyons got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Colin Aubé made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Trent Hinkle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Starr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Emmett Lyons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronnie Starr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmett Lyons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmett Lyons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ronnie Starr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curt Schwartz's late challenge caught a Commanda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curt Schwartz helped the player get up and apologised. Curt Schwartz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ronnie Starr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trent Hinkle in the 62nd minute of play. Marcos Faulk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Romain McNeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Commanda AFC's Romain McNeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Commanda AFC from getting a goal against them. After 67 minutes of play Commanda AFC's Lyman AyotHayot was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lyman AyotHayot kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Marcos Faulk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romain McNeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronnie Starr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmett Lyons in the 82nd minute of play. If Emmett Lyons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Stonewall AFC's Curt Schwartz got a free kick in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Commanda AFC's goalkeeper Romain McNeal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Land. Emmett Lyons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ronnie Starr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alain Krueger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Commanda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alain Krueger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Starr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Commanda AFC's Romain McNeal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Commanda AFC from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
