An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Elijah Edwards got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Elijah Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barton Winter was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. A collision led to Chatfield FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Herb Tate hit a great ball. Chatfield FC's Barton Winter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elijah Edwards in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Carl Ellis from a close distance when the talented Barton Winter managed to make a qualified save. Chatfield FC's players were relieved. Carl Ellis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurtis Huggins hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Barton Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Ellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Chatfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicodème Denton. Barton Winter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Ellis in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Nicodème Denton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Elijah Edwards got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Barton Winter was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Elijah Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Winisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elijah Edwards couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes Chatfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Al Cordero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ellis in the 85th minute of play forced Chatfield FC's goalkeeper Barton Winter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match, Kelvin Maurer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bryce McBride saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the match, Carl Ellis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Barton Winter. Chatfield FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Ellis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
