If Calvin Huppé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th minute, Winford McClure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winford McClure charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Winford McClure the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th match minute, Wings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winford McClure to maneuver through the defense. If Mathew Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justin Callahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Antonio Wheeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wings's Eldridge Burke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Huppé in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Justin Callahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Wheeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justin Callahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Wheeler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Wings getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Boyce Daoust hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Mathew Arnold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Justin Callahan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Antonio Wheeler to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Irma booed when Wings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerrod Parrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see Irma's Léon Parks in action when he in the 37th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Antonio Wheeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Callahan in the 40th minute of play. Justin Callahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Wheeler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Mathew Arnold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Wheeler having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyler Richey to make the kick off. 59 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Wings's Mathew Arnold fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 61st match minute, Irma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Hadley to maneuver through the defense. Mathew Arnold struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Antonio Wheeler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wings. Justin Callahan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Irma's Antonio Wheeler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathew Arnold in the 67th minute of play. Mathew Arnold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Lance Favreau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Irma and the Wings players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Irma got a freekick which was hit by Lance Favreau. In the 72nd minute Justin Callahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Wheeler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lance Favreau was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Irma's Lance Favreau got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Antonio Wheeler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathew Arnold in the 74th minute of play. Mathew Arnold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justin Callahan in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Wheeler saved Irma from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Mathew Arnold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Mathew Arnold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Wheeler didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wings's Mathew Arnold shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Justin Callahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Antonio Wheeler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Irma's Anibal Hadley got a free kick in the 98th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Irma's zone, Mathew Arnold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Wheeler came out of the goal and Mathew Arnold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
