Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Dwayne Bonneville blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Wheeler having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Sammy Tessier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Antonio Wheeler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lyman Frazier in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute, Sean Francoeur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Tyler Richey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gale Sutherland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irma's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyler Richey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gale Sutherland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gale Sutherland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lee Graves in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Landon Fry made a kick off. Kip Plourde's late challenge caught a Irma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kip Plourde helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Forward got a freekick which was hit by Kip Plourde. Tyler Richey spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Forward's goal. Irma's Tyler Richey got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Sammy Tessier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Wheeler. Irma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sammy Tessier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tyler Richey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gale Sutherland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Carl Carson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Forward's zone, Tyler Richey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gale Sutherland came out of the goal and Tyler Richey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sammy Tessier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, one of Irma:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Irma. The referee gave Forward a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dwayne Bonneville, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Irma's Antonio Wheeler. 3-0. Antonio Wheeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Tessier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Irma's goal looked a bit too open when Lyman Frazier came free, but Antonio Wheeler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Landon Fry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Landon Fry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tyler Richey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gale Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irma's Landon Fry got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antonio Wheeler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lyman Frazier, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Antonio Wheeler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Tessier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Forward's goal looked a bit too open when Landon Fry came free, but Gale Sutherland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Forward's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
