After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Freddy Lynch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frank Parrot did an outstanding performance 83 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Dante McCabe in the goal. The supporters of Arctique F.C. booed when Willowdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vespasien Busque didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Jernigan came free, but Dante McCabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Willowdale's Dante McCabe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Lagueux in the 88th minute of play. Arctique F.C.'s Taylor Crabtree managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Douglas Tapia in the 95 minute of the game. When Freddy Lynch fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Willowdale's protests and gave Freddy Lynch a yellow card for diving instead. Freddy Lynch kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Dante McCabe was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Augustin Jernigan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Augustin Jernigan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Willowdale lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
