Dante McCabe had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Mikel Enriquez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dante McCabe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Harden came free, but Dante McCabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vespasien Busque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler McKay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jeromy Maynard made a huge save. A collision led to Willowdale getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dante McCabe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eugenia AFC. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Eugenia AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
