After 9 minutes of play, Macalister's Jarod Rowley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Von Clark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lazare Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Wilburn Bonner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilburn Bonner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Butler, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Annaville FC booed when Macalister was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arron Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazare Snider recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Butler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilburn Bonner having to interfere. In the 27th minute Isaias Butler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilburn Bonner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilburn Bonner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Butler in the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Lazare Snider from a close distance when the talented Wilburn Bonner managed to make a qualified save. Macalister's players were relieved. If Lazare Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Jarod Rowley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Von Clark was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew Lay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lazare Snider ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilburn Bonner was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Annaville FC's Von Clark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Lay in the 62nd minute of play. With his leg Von Clark managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Macalister's Jarod Rowley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Von Clark stood somewhat misplaced when Matthew Lay came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Isaias Butler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Wilburn Bonner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthew Lay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lazare Snider in the 94th minute of play forced Macalister's goalkeeper Wilburn Bonner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Macalister supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Macalister would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
