Jeromy Maynard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradford Bisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Mervin Medley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jewel Dowdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeromy Maynard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jewel Dowdy in the 25th minute. The Eugenia AFC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Eugenia AFC's Franklin Harden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bradford Bisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradford Bisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jeromy Maynard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Eugenia AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Adrien Stuart hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jewel Dowdy got free with Jeromy Maynard in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Jewel Dowdy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Eugenia AFC's Franklin Harden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felicien Small narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mervin Medley in the 46th minute of play forced Chester's goalkeeper Felicien Small to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felicien Small didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin Harden went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Franklin Harden made the kick off in the second half. Jeromy Maynard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradford Bisson in the 57th minute of play. Jewel Dowdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jeromy Maynard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradford Bisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Franklin Harden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felicien Small having to interfere. Bradford Bisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeromy Maynard having to interfere. Jeromy Maynard came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Chester's Jewel Dowdy. But to his dismay, Jewel Dowdy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Franklin Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jewel Dowdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jeromy Maynard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeromy Maynard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradford Bisson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Harden struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Felicien Small didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eugenia AFC. In the 86th minute of the match Lon Guilmette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felicien Small showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeromy Maynard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradford Bisson in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jewel Dowdy in the 90th minute of play forced Eugenia AFC's goalkeeper Jeromy Maynard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute Bradford Bisson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeromy Maynard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Eugenia AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
