When Augustin Jernigan came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Arctique F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Jernigan couldn't finish the play. After 38 minutes, Augustin Jernigan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Waldheim's Germain Hamilton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Augustin Jernigan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Germain Hamilton was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Jernigan in the 44th minute of play forced Waldheim's goalkeeper Germain Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germain Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Poissonnier, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Toby Lagueux managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 88thth minute of the game Géraud Parks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arctique F.C.'s Harvey Grier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vince Poe's late challenge caught a Arctique F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vince Poe helped the player get up and apologised. Vince Poe kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Arctique F.C.'s Toby Lagueux got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Arctique F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arctique F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
