In the 18th minute, Chester's Bradford Bisson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Felicien Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freeman Moody in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradford Bisson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Marrero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Chester's Bernardo Marrero threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bradford Bisson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Chester's Jewel Dowdy got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Chester's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Audet came free, but Felicien Small reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Freeman Moody got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freeman Moody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Felicien Small tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felicien Small made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Pritchard in the 48th minute of play.

Bernardo Marrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradford Bisson in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Freeman Moody who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chester's Felicien Small was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freeman Moody sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 75 in the game by Homer Pritchard from a close distance when the talented Felicien Small managed to make a qualified save. Chester's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julius Whitehead during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chester booed when Beardmore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Whitehead didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chester fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beardmore AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
