In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carmacks FC's goalkeeper Harland Reeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Clint Lacombe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmacks FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sicamous FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carmacks FC's Clint Lacombe got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Kelley Trent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shad McGinnis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Edmundo Bonsaint sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harland Reeder skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sicamous FC's goalkeeper Shad McGinnis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carmacks FC's Harland Reeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucius Lanteigne in the 41st minute of play. Harland Reeder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alva Prather went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Carmacks FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sicamous FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alva Prather to strike the kick off in the second half. When Alva Prather came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sicamous FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alva Prather couldn't finish the play. During the 55th minute of the match Clint Lacombe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Clint Lacombe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 55 played minutes Carmacks FC got a freekick which was hit by Clint Lacombe. With his leg Harland Reeder managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sicamous FC's Lucius Lanteigne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alva Prather hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lazare Auger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Len York managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmacks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Len York was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Len York received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Shad McGinnis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Johnson Lavoie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sicamous FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmacks FC the free kick. The supporters of Carmacks FC booed when Sicamous FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnson Lavoie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucius Lanteigne got free with Harland Reeder in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sicamous FC's Alva Prather got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Carmacks FC's Omar Leslie got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes, Aaron Otero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmacks FC and the Sicamous FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 83rd minute, one of Carmacks FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carmacks FC. The goalkeeper, Harland Reeder, was totally fooled by Sicamous FC's Edmundo Bonsaint, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Harland Reeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Bonsaint in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Carmacks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alva Prather came free, but Harland Reeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucius Lanteigne struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Harland Reeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sicamous FC. Sicamous FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
