After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Darren Hanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nuwata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren Hanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harlan Bell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Darren Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beachberg FC's Harlan Bell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Butler in the 15th minute of play. When Darren Hanson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Nuwata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darren Hanson couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute, Darren Hanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darren Hanson in the 24th minute of play forced Beachberg FC's goalkeeper Harlan Bell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mickey Butler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Burt having to interfere. Carson Burt made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Gregorio Gamble sent off a good shot on target. When Richard Winston fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nuwata FC's protests and gave Richard Winston a yellow card for diving instead. Richard Winston hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Mickey Butler put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Harlan Bell. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Harlan Bell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darren Hanson in the 56th minute of play. When Beachberg FC's Gordon Sims in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuwata FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Billie Aucoin fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beachberg FC's protests and gave Billie Aucoin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Beachberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billie Aucoin to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes, Nuwata FC's Byron Tackett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harlan Bell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nuwata FC reached it. Darren Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 73rd minute, Brent Dick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Harlan Bell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gordon Sims fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carson Burt having to interfere. Gordon Sims struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Carson Burt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beachberg FC. Gordon Sims received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Carson Burt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
