If Lucius Lanteigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldo Latham kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Allen Dostie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alva Prather in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Alva Prather managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sicamous FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alva Prather was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allen Dostie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucius Lanteigne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Allen Dostie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Lucius Lanteigne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sicamous FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucius Lanteigne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Holmes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eloy Billings fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sicamous FC's protests and gave Eloy Billings a yellow card for diving instead. Eloy Billings kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Aldo Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucius Lanteigne in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Allen Dostie, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tobermory's goalkeeper Allen Dostie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the match, Alva Prather tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allen Dostie saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 72nd minute, Johnson Lavoie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucius Lanteigne's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Allen Dostie firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Tobermory's zone, Johnson Lavoie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allen Dostie came out of the goal and Johnson Lavoie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Lucius Lanteigne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sicamous FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucius Lanteigne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allen Dostie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucius Lanteigne got free with Allen Dostie in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucius Lanteigne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Allen Dostie made a huge save. The Tobermory support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
