Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) Mickey Butler started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Rudy Boston put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Nuwata FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carmacks FC:s goal. In the 10th minute Kelley Trent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carson Burt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes Nuwata FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Winston. In the 20th minute, Lazare Auger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Darren Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Kelley Trent recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carson Burt. Kelley Trent showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 30th minute, Len York got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Len York sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darren Hanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Harland Reeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Len York managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmacks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Len York was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carson Burt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rocco Cash's late challenge caught a Carmacks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rocco Cash helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kelley Trent was the one to do the kick off. Harland Reeder made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Darren Hanson sent off a good shot on target. Carmacks FC's Harland Reeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Cash in the 55th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Carmacks FC got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Lilly. When Carmacks FC's Kelley Trent in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuwata FC's goalie prevented a goal. Darren Hanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Harland Reeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carson Burt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelley Trent in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Richard Winston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmacks FC's Len York got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Darren Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carson Burt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loup Finley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kelley Trent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kelley Trent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmacks FC's Harland Reeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Carmacks FC from getting a goal against them. Kelley Trent scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carson Burt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuwata FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
