Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malcom Guilmette made the kick off and thus started the match. Long Roe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmad Grayson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Roe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Bériault in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roscoe Bériault in the 7th minute of play forced Midland AFC's goalkeeper Long Roe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Midland AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roscoe Bériault came free, but Long Roe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Midland AFC defense, Roscoe Bériault kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Long Roe. The Midland AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Long Roe should have stopped the shot. Midland AFC's Long Roe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loren Ruiz in the 14th minute of play. Raul Nichols received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilburn Talbot came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Nichols slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. Long Roe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yann Ham in the 20th minute of play. Ahmad Grayson took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Long Roe. Long Roe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcom Guilmette in the 25th minute of play forced Coaticook's goalkeeper Wilburn Talbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Coaticook's Loren Ruiz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Long Roe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32 minutes, Abe Leal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coaticook and the Midland AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raul Nichols didn't quite understand what happened when in the 34 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After having played for 35 minutes, Raul Nichols managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midland AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Nichols was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcom Guilmette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Wilburn Talbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Nichols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Malcom Guilmette's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilburn Talbot was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. The supporters of Coaticook booed when Midland AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Plante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roscoe Bériault to strike the kick off in the second half. Long Roe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godelieve Varner in the 52nd minute. Long Roe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roscoe Bériault, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Coaticook's zone, Raul Nichols stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilburn Talbot came out of the goal and Raul Nichols tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Nichols recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Coaticook's Abel Thomson got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Cornelius Drake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 63 minutes, Ahmad Grayson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coaticook and the Midland AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmad Grayson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Raul Nichols put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Midland AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Raul Nichols hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Roscoe Bériault managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coaticook's supporters rose to their feet, but Roscoe Bériault was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Long Roe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Midland AFC's Long Roe got control of the ball when Loren Ruiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Coaticook's zone, Christian Brunelle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilburn Talbot came out of the goal and Christian Brunelle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coaticook's Abel Thomson got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Abel Thomson off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Coaticook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Thomson to maneuver through the defense. The Coaticook players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
