Innisfail's Rigoberto Tinsley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Woodward in the 38th minute of play. Jimmie Kenny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Tinsley made a huge save. Rigoberto Tinsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Woodward, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sang Lentz's late challenge caught a Gascons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Kenny in the 75th minute of play forced Innisfail's goalkeeper Rigoberto Tinsley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Antonia Cahill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Innisfail got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Fink. After a rather tough play, Gascons's Roy Huppé got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jimmie Kenny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmie Kenny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Tinsley having to interfere. Sang Lentz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Warren Woodward in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Tinsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gascons's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
