The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thad McFarland to strike the kick off in the second half. Benny Turcotte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benny Turcotte struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Logan Noel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crinkland. In the 65th minute, Kip Pritchard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Early. Kelvin Quenneville kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Tory Bruno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Javier Yushenkovs's supporters rose to their feet, but Tory Bruno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Early breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Javier Yushenkovs booed when Crinkland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Quenneville didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kip Pritchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crinkland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benny Turcotte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
