The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haywood Pichette in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornell Bisaillon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alva Washburn got free with Cornell Bisaillon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornell Bisaillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Couet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Dominion's Maximo Maldonado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alonzo Veilleux narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, RealNiggaz's Elliott Pope got a free kick in the 21st minute. Rainier Davis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dennis Despins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Maldonado in the 26th minute of play forced RealNiggaz's goalkeeper Alonzo Veilleux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Dennis Despins notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RealNiggaz's Alonzo Veilleux. Alonzo Veilleux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Dominion's goalkeeper Cornell Bisaillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Couet. After the first half Dominion were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. Carrol Chaloux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alonzo Veilleux came out and tried to block the shot, but Carrol Chaloux slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alva Washburn in the 56th minute of play forced Dominion's goalkeeper Cornell Bisaillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
