Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Garry Palacios made the kick off which started today's match. Gabriel Hooker's late challenge caught a Beachberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Hooker helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beachberg booed when Thunder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Hooker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garry Palacios struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Paul McCormick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beachberg. Devon Francoeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mack Loomis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Mack Loomis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Devon Francoeur. Mack Loomis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Thunder's Jonah Rushing got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Garry Palacios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thunder's Paul McCormick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Christian Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beachberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul McCormick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Garry Palacios sped through Thunder's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paul McCormick. In the 30thth minute of the game Garry Palacios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thunder's Paul McCormick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claude Fisher during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Claude Fisher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 2-2 became the score in the 36th minute when Earle Mosley elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Mack Loomis came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Thunder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mack Loomis couldn't finish the play. Jarvis Levine kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Thunder was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mack Loomis to maneuver through the defense. Devon Francoeur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mack Loomis in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mack Loomis made a kick off. Christian Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul McCormick having to interfere. Beachberg's Devon Francoeur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mack Loomis in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heath Barrera during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Thunder booed when Beachberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heath Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mack Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Thunder fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Thunder's Earle Mosley looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Thunder booed when Beachberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurtis Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Earle Mosley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Devon Francoeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garry Palacios received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paul McCormick came out and tried to block the shot, but Garry Palacios slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurtis Parks got free with Paul McCormick in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Beachberg booed when Thunder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Hooker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Beachberg's Garry Palacios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul McCormick made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Earle Mosley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Devon Francoeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Beachberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
