The supporters of Harriston FC booed when Osnaburgh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoper Baril didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thurman Hardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryce Person made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elijah Wise sent off a good shot on target. Tommie Bean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatole Hardy having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thurman Hardin in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatole Hardy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 38 minutes, Thurman Hardin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osnaburgh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thurman Hardin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Bean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Anatole Hardy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elijah Wise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce Person having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Thurman Hardin made the kick off in the second half. Thurman Hardin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 55th minute, Tommie Bean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thurman Hardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Carol Brunson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Elijah Wise got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryce Person didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carol Brunson went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Harriston FC's Anatole Hardy got control of the ball when Thurman Hardin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th minute Carol Brunson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryce Person saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carol Brunson might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryce Person. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carol Brunson ran back to his position shaking his head. When Harriston FC's Elijah Wise in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Osnaburgh FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Osnaburgh FC's zone, Carol Brunson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryce Person came out of the goal and Carol Brunson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Harriston FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thurman Hardin came free, but Anatole Hardy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Tommie Bean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Osnaburgh FC's Tommie Bean got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
