In the 13th minute Denis Glenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earnest Crews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Earnest Crews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Kay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, NDG United's goal looked a bit too open when Odis Petrie came free, but Earnest Crews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Odis Petrie in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Earnest Crews prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Claude Kay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Earnest Crews was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Claude Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earnest Crews having to interfere. Eric Siegel's late challenge caught a NDG United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Siegel helped the player get up and apologised. Eric Siegel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Earnest Crews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odis Petrie, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Eric Siegel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Earnest Crews. NDG United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Siegel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thad Dick in the 37th minute of play forced NDG United's goalkeeper Earnest Crews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eric Siegel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, NDG United's goal looked a bit too open when Odis Petrie came free, but Earnest Crews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Earnest Crews successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
