The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Osnaburgh FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Carey LeBatelier hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Quincy Thacker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Yves Huff managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 20th minute, Florencio Lawler fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bryce Person, passed just outside the right post. 23 minutes into the match, Osnaburgh FC's goalkeeper Bryce Person had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Archie Pagan. In the 25th minute, Archie Pagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Archie Pagan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Osnaburgh FC booed when Lazio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Lawler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Osnaburgh FC's Carey LeBatelier got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Archie Pagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walton Deschênes struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Bryce Person didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazio Roma. Villem Loodus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommie Bean in the 46th minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Didier Carlson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lazio Roma and the Osnaburgh FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lazio Roma getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Didier Carlson hit a great ball. The supporters of Osnaburgh FC booed when Lazio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yves Huff didn't get a good kick on the ball. 50 minutes into the match, Osnaburgh FC's Erwin Sirois broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Lawler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florencio Lawler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bryce Person tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thurman Hardin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Villem Loodus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Archie Pagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bryce Person came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lazio Roma's Yves Huff. But to his dismay, Yves Huff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bryce Person made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Pagan in the 78th minute of play. Florencio Lawler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Lazio Roma's goalkeeper Villem Loodus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommie Bean. Tommie Bean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bryce Person showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Lawler, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 99th minute, Tommie Bean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osnaburgh FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Lazio Roma's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
