Delmar Mayo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Mayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stormsurge FC booed when Amadjuak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Mayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darrell Gary could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Booker Faust made a huge save. In the 43rd minute, Darrell Gary left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stormsurge FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chadwick McDonough made a kick off. Booker Faust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gérald Curtis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerry Boyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chadwick McDonough in the 56th minute of the match. Florentino Escobar charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Escobar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florentino Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jame Boncoeur, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Stormsurge FC's Darrell Gary got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nicholas Grady fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stormsurge FC's protests and gave Nicholas Grady a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Nicholas Grady hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chadwick McDonough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. After 87 played minutes Stormsurge FC got a freekick which was hit by Darron Carroll. Chadwick McDonough received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kerry Boyd came out and tried to block the shot, but Chadwick McDonough slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 91st minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
