Spectators: 7559 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Efren Stafford kicked off to start the match. When Carol Brunson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Harriston FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carol Brunson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Harvey AFC's Orval Weathers got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lowell Beausoleil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carol Brunson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute Harriston FC were awarded a corner. Léopold Ransom went to the cornerflag to take it. After 8 minutes, Elijah Wise made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Harvey AFC's Lowell Beausoleil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Efren Stafford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Hardy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Harvey AFC's zone, Carol Brunson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lowell Beausoleil came out of the goal and Carol Brunson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efren Stafford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Harvey AFC booed when Harriston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Chaloux didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carol Brunson in the 32nd minute of play forced Harvey AFC's goalkeeper Lowell Beausoleil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lowell Beausoleil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carol Brunson in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Efren Stafford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Hardy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Douglas Boisvert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Efren Stafford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Hardy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Harriston FC's Anatole Hardy got control of the ball when Douglas Boisvert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carol Brunson made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Efren Stafford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Édouard Denis's late challenge caught a Harvey AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Édouard Denis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Harriston FC's Édouard Denis got a free kick in the 65th minute. Efren Stafford scored 1-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anatole Hardy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Harvey AFC's goalkeeper Lowell Beausoleil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elijah Wise. Elijah Wise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Carol Brunson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lowell Beausoleil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carol Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Boisvert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatole Hardy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Douglas Boisvert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anatole Hardy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elijah Wise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Lowell Beausoleil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harriston FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
