After 3 minutes, Archie Pagan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lazio Roma and the Harvey AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Florencio Lawler came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Lazio Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Lawler couldn't finish the play. Archie Pagan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Lowell Beausoleil made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efren Stafford in the 11th minute of play forced Lazio Roma's goalkeeper Villem Loodus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Didier Carlson's late challenge caught a Harvey AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Didier Carlson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Harvey AFC booed when Lazio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Keller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Boisvert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villem Loodus having to interfere. Didier Carlson got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Didier Carlson hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Efren Stafford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Villem Loodus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Archie Pagan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lowell Beausoleil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Walton Deschênes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazio Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walton Deschênes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Harvey AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Walton Deschênes came free, but Lowell Beausoleil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Pagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Arlie Walsh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Efren Stafford made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Harvey AFC booed when Lazio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walton Deschênes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Boisvert got free with Villem Loodus in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 56 minutes into the game, Yves Huff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lazio Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harvey AFC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Efren Stafford in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Villem Loodus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Archie Pagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lowell Beausoleil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Pagan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Pagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Douglas Boisvert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Douglas Boisvert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Lazio Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Huff to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Harvey AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Armand Worley hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Harvey AFC's zone, Archie Pagan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lowell Beausoleil came out of the goal and Archie Pagan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
