Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 100) Jospeh Pelletier made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 12th minute Jospeh Pelletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loup Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Harden struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Loup Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. After a rather tough play, CANADA's Dale Fuentes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Nelson Harden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loup Hong came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Nelson Harden. But to his dismay, Nelson Harden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dale Fuentes hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Nelson Harden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loup Hong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Nelson Harden notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CANADA's Loup Hong. Loup Hong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Loup Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jospeh Pelletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Santos FC's Jospeh Pelletier in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CANADA's goalie prevented a goal. Dale Fuentes hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Loup Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jospeh Pelletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lonny Gaston kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Honoré Veronneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Burger having to interfere. Nelson Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jospeh Pelletier in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loup Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Santos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honoré Veronneau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dale Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Lonny Gaston from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Loup Hong's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 57th minute, Jospeh Pelletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loup Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jospeh Pelletier's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ali Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot. CANADA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Holt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miles Burger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Loup Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos FC's Miles Burger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honoré Veronneau in the 64th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Jospeh Pelletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANADA's Loup Hong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Loup Hong was a little too slow when Jospeh Pelletier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-4. Jospeh Pelletier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Loup Hong came out and tried to block the shot, but Jospeh Pelletier slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 73rd minute. Nelson Harden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loup Hong having to make a save. Loup Hong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jospeh Pelletier in the 78th minute. Nelson Harden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
