Taylor Déziel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dewayne Olson firmly grabbed it by the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Carey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norman Terry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Otto Varner made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Wendell Norwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilby's supporters rose to their feet, but Wendell Norwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dewayne Olson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
