Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl Champagne took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Castaneda got free with Miles Burger in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jospeh Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jospeh Pelletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Courtois was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jospeh Pelletier sped through Macklini's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Courtois. Macklini's Rodolphe Castaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl Champagne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Burger having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Jospeh Pelletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macklini's Arnoldo Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Nelson Harden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnoldo Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Nelson Harden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nelson Harden struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Arnoldo Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. Arnoldo Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jospeh Pelletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Arnoldo Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Harden in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jospeh Pelletier to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Jospeh Pelletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jospeh Pelletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Macklini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolphe Castaneda to maneuver through the defense. Lonny Gaston fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 58th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Nelson Hardens short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Arnoldo Courtois to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jospeh Pelletier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Santos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Macklini's Arnoldo Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jospeh Pelletier in the 92nd minute of play. Nelson Harden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Arnoldo Courtois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle sounded Santos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Macklini.
