Spectators: 6700 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) St.Mary's Damion Whitfield started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damion Whitfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Loup Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CANADA's Loup Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CANADA from getting a goal against them. Dale Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Ali Holt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St.Mary's Hassan Talon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ali Cherrys short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Loup Hong to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hassan Talon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Whitney Jacobsen in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Ali Holt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CANADA's Ali Holt got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Honoré Veronneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Talon having to interfere. A hard shot 28 in the game by Ali Cherry from a close distance when the talented Loup Hong managed to make a qualified save. CANADA's players were relieved. Ali Holt struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hassan Talon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANADA. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honoré Veronneau made a kick off. Loup Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damion Whitfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of St.Mary booed when CANADA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Whitney Jacobsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. St.Mary were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after CANADA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manual Shook took the corner. The corner ended in Manual Shook almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CANADA's Loup Hong did a great save. Hassan Talon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honoré Veronneau in the 69th minute of play. Hassan Talon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by CANADA's Honoré Veronneau. But to his dismay, Honoré Veronneau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Honoré Veronneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Talon having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Ali Holt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CANADA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Holt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Damion Whitfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassan Talon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Holt in the 82nd minute. If Honoré Veronneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The St.Mary supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CANADA's performance. The match ended with a win for CANADA.
