The tension between the Tlell and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tlell getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tuan Watson hit a great ball. Nelson Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry Peterson charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Peterson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Tlell got a freekick which was hit by Harry Peterson. After having played for 15 minutes, Nelson Harden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelson Harden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jospeh Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewayne Olson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jospeh Pelletier's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Jospeh Pelletier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dewayne Olson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nelson Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nelson Harden came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Harden couldn't finish the play. Nelson Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewayne Olson having to interfere. In the 36th minute Nelson Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewayne Olson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Tlell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dee Dickens didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andrea Yazzie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Yazzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tlell players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jospeh Pelletier to make the kick off. Dewayne Olson was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Nelson Harden capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nelson Harden really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Jospeh Pelletier struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Dewayne Olson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC. When Hassan Deserres fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos FC's protests and gave Hassan Deserres a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Hassan Deserres. In the 64th minute of the match Aron Springer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miles Burger skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute Jospeh Pelletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewayne Olson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augustin Sansouci kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nelson Harden got free with Dewayne Olson in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jospeh Pelletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dewayne Olson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tlell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Nelson Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos FC's Jospeh Pelletier got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jospeh Pelletier in the 86th minute of play forced Tlell's goalkeeper Dewayne Olson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Jospeh Pelletier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dewayne Olson. Jospeh Pelletier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 93 played minutes Tlell got a freekick which was hit by Dee Dickens. Nelson Harden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dewayne Olson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When Jospeh Pelletier came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jospeh Pelletier couldn't finish the play. The Tlell fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Santos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
