In the 17th minute of the match, Devin Provencher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damien Hays saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 22 minutes into the match, Vassan's Devin Provencher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damien Hays narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Brooks Coffey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Damien Hays was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Devin Provencher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Devin Provencher really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Brooks Coffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damien Hays having to make a save. Luigi Oleary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvester Proctor having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Devin Provencher was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Wembley booed when Vassan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bastien Hurd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brooks Coffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damien Hays having to make a save. Devin Provencher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Hays having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Diego Charlesbois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vassan and the Wembley players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Diego Charlesbois hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vassan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
