Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vassan's Devin Provencher started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Devin Provencher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Wilbert Berg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atnarko AFC's Wilbert Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Provencher in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Bob Lacharité hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Vassan's Brooks Coffey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilbert Berg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Amédée Deschamps managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atnarko AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amédée Deschamps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylvester Proctor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Teddy Bernier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jc Gilmore kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Harris Crain scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Sylvester Proctor who was too lazy, 1-1. If Brooks Coffey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilbert Berg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brooks Coffey in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Devin Provencher in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilbert Berg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute, Amédée Deschamps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brooks Coffey struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Wilbert Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vassan. In the 45th minute Devin Provencher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbert Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Brooks Coffey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbert Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Vassan's zone, Tanner Stone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvester Proctor came out of the goal and Tanner Stone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brooks Coffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Berg having to interfere. The supporters of Vassan booed when Atnarko AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Piedalue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilbert Berg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devin Provencher's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Harris Crain's late challenge caught a Vassan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harris Crain helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atnarko AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 73rd minute, Devin Provencher fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilbert Berg, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devin Provencher in the 75th minute of play forced Atnarko AFC's goalkeeper Wilbert Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilbert Berg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brooks Coffey went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Brooks Coffey came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilbert Berg could save by the left post. Diego Charlesbois sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vassan played a much better game than Atnarko AFC and deserved their victory. The Atnarko AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
