Men in Tights's Renard Villarreal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Men in Tights from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Men in Tights defense, Jan Arpin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renard Villarreal. The Men in Tights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renard Villarreal should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute Raymundo Nunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clément McMullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Men in Tights's Raymundo Nunn made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clément McMullen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deangelo Cormier during the 66th minute.
