Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wembley's Trevor LaGarde started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Plunkett's zone, Trevor LaGarde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onesime Hyatt came out of the goal and Trevor LaGarde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Tory Adkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Cahill in the 23rd minute of play forced Wembley's goalkeeper Damien Hays to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Wembley's Luigi Oleary nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Onesime Hyatt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Trevor LaGarde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Onesime Hyatt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wembley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Cornelius Cahill scored to the left of an out of position Damien Hays, making the score, 1-1. Luigi Oleary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onesime Hyatt having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Plunkett's Onesime Hyatt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor LaGarde in the 52nd minute of play. Damien Hays took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Adkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luigi Oleary could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Onesime Hyatt made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor LaGarde in the 60th minute of play forced Plunkett's goalkeeper Onesime Hyatt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Eldridge Beausoleil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cornelius Cahill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plunkett's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelius Cahill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damien Hays breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Wembley's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelius Cahill came free, but Damien Hays reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luigi Oleary who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Onesime Hyatt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luigi Oleary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onesime Hyatt having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Plunkett's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor LaGarde came free, but Onesime Hyatt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Luigi Oleary managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wembley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luigi Oleary was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wembley's Trevor LaGarde got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
