After some careless play in the Atnarko AFC defense, Cornelius Cahill kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilbert Berg. The Atnarko AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilbert Berg should have stopped the shot. If Tory Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelius Cahill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Berg having to interfere. If Cornelius Cahill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilbert Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelius Cahill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel Hatcher hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Cornelius Cahill made the kick off in the second half. Quinn Lemaître hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Cornelius Cahill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tory Adkins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Wilbert Berg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Tremblay hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Plunkett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lionel Hatcher to maneuver through the defense. Tanner Stone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute Cornelius Cahill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilbert Berg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tory Adkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Tory Adkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plunkett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory Adkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilbert Berg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tory Adkins in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Cornelius Cahill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atnarko AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Teddy Bernier hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Dwayne Dagenais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelius Cahill in the 93rd minute of play forced Atnarko AFC's goalkeeper Wilbert Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tory Adkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Berg having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Plunkett left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atnarko AFC.
