With a little luck, FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman got control of the ball when Grady Charrette tried to sneak it across the goal line. When FC Montreal 2012's Perry Keller in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beardmore FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Vincent Sherman fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Montreal 2012's protests and gave Vincent Sherman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Beardmore FC booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frankie Vickers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 14th minute. Beardmore FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 15 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Lupe Fontaine. Grady Charrette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman got control of the ball when Grady Charrette tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Frankie Vickers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Eastman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Keller in the 29th minute of play forced Beardmore FC's goalkeeper Saul Mathis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, FC Montreal 2012's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Vickers came free, but Joey Eastman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Grady Charrette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Enoch Gray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grady Charrette might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joey Eastman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grady Charrette ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 played minutes Beardmore FC got a freekick which was hit by Buford Cliche. Lupe Fontaine struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Saul Mathis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Montreal 2012. 46 minutes into the game, Grady Charrette lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Joey Eastman. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lupe Fontaine made a kick off. With a little luck, Beardmore FC's Saul Mathis got control of the ball when Perry Keller tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Perry Keller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorsey Dodge took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joey Eastman. FC Montreal 2012's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perry Keller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Saul Mathis made a huge save. If Frankie Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Beardmore FC booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Frankie Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Vickers in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Winston Holmes. 90 minutes into the match, Frankie Vickers notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman. Joey Eastman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Grady Charrette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beardmore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grady Charrette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frankie Vickers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joey Eastman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Dorsey Dodge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Montreal 2012 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Beardmore FC.
