Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Arpin made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Arpin in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saul Mathis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Justin Lowry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Justin Lowry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Beardmore FC's zone, Jan Arpin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Mathis came out of the goal and Jan Arpin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorsey Dodge kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 21st play minutes Frankie Vickers shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Clément McMullen and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee ignored Beardmore FC's protests and gave Frankie Vickers a yellow card for diving instead. Thad Patenaude's late challenge caught a Beardmore FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thad Patenaude helped the player get up and apologised. Thad Patenaude kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Justin Lowry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Saul Mathis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grady Charrette was the one to do the kick off. Beardmore FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thad Patenaude was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Iona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
