After a defensive mix-up in Beardmore FC's zone, Perry Keller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Mathis came out of the goal and Perry Keller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lupe Fontaine in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Mathis saved Beardmore FC from getting behind. Beardmore FC's Saul Mathis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lupe Fontaine in the 10th minute of play. Grady Charrette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joey Eastman having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC Montreal 2012's Enoch Gray got a free kick in the 14th minute. Joey Eastman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Vickers, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, Enoch Gray hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Montreal 2012's zone, Grady Charrette stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Eastman came out of the goal and Grady Charrette tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frankie Vickers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Beardmore FC booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enoch Gray didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Grady Charrette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Perry Keller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Montreal 2012 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Ambroise Brunelle placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, FC Montreal 2012's Curtis Deserres got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Grady Charrette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joey Eastman. FC Montreal 2012's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Grady Charrette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Grady Charrette managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beardmore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grady Charrette was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 48 minutes, Frankie Vickers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beardmore FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Vickers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frankie Vickers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Beardmore FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Mathis should have stopped the shot. In the 63rdth minute of the game Frankie Vickers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Frankie Vickers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frankie Vickers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joey Eastman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Vickers in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Frankie Vickers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Eastman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Grady Charrette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grady Charrette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Grady Charrette could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Joey Eastman however easily saved by the left post. In the 91stth minute of the game Lupe Fontaine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beardmore FC's Saul Mathis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lupe Fontaine in the 92nd minute of play forced Beardmore FC's goalkeeper Saul Mathis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saul Mathis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Keller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
