Spectators: 8033 (Terracing: 6025, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lupe Fontaine made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes, Perry Keller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Montreal 2012 and the Wembley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Perry Keller. Joey Eastman came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Wembley's Luigi Oleary. But to his dismay, Luigi Oleary quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Sherman. In the 12th minute of the match Eldridge Beausoleil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joey Eastman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lupe Fontaine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damien Hays read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Luigi Oleary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute Trevor LaGarde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Eastman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joey Eastman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luigi Oleary in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor LaGarde in the 25th minute of play forced FC Montreal 2012's goalkeeper Joey Eastman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lupe Fontaine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Hays having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Montreal 2012's zone, Luigi Oleary stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joey Eastman came out of the goal and Luigi Oleary tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Wembley booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enoch Gray didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Sherman's late challenge caught a Wembley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Sherman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Wembley booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincent Sherman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Clint Deaton. Trevor LaGarde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Jonah Casey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wembley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonah Casey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the FC Montreal 2012 defense, Luigi Oleary kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joey Eastman. The FC Montreal 2012 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joey Eastman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luigi Olearys short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Joey Eastman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute, Vincent Sherman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Trevor LaGarde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Luigi Oleary managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wembley's supporters rose to their feet, but Luigi Oleary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Montreal 2012's Joey Eastman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Montreal 2012 from getting a goal against them. Perry Keller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Hays having to interfere. Perry Keller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Damien Hays tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-3 became the score in the 77th minute when Trevor LaGarde elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Joey Eastman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor LaGarde, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Luigi Oleary received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joey Eastman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trevor LaGarde struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Joey Eastman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wembley. Wembley played a much better game than FC Montreal 2012 and deserved their victory. The FC Montreal 2012 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
