Spectators: 7965 (Terracing: 5975, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 158) When Josh Holden fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inuvik FC's protests and gave Josh Holden a yellow card for diving instead. Josh Holden kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Inuvik FC booed when Laval Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lemuel Childs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marvin White hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Darin Allred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Laval Kings's goal looked a bit too open when Eloi Hines came free, but Trevor Hess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trevor Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neville Davenport, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darin Allred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jackie McClure hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jermaine Newman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Juste McClure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Allred, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Darin Allred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juste McClure having to interfere. After some careless play in the Laval Kings defense, Neville Davenport kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Hess. The Laval Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Hess should have stopped the shot. After the first half Inuvik FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rico Goodson made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Marvin White notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Inuvik FC's Juste McClure. Juste McClure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darin Allred in the 59th minute of play forced Inuvik FC's goalkeeper Juste McClure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lemuel Childs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juste McClure having to interfere. Marvin White received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Juste McClure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Waylon Horne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Laval Kings's Trevor Hess got control of the ball when Neville Davenport tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Inuvik FC's zone, Darin Allred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juste McClure came out of the goal and Darin Allred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Inuvik FC's Rico Goodson got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Kyle Dickey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juste McClure. Inuvik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyle Dickey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lemuel Childs kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laval Kings fully deserved thier win.
