Darin Allred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo German having to make a save. If Marvin White had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, MyLittleBuenosAires's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Allred came free, but Gonzalo German reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Laval Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Cote to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Prince Abraham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MyLittleBuenosAires's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prince Abraham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trevor Hess made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when James Gant sent off a good shot on target. If Wilmer Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, MyLittleBuenosAires's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Allred came free, but Gonzalo German reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marvin White had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Gant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Trevor Hess made a huge save. Gonzalo German took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Allred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Laverne Théberge could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Trevor Hess however easily saved by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darin Allred was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Del Dubeau in the 51st minute of play forced Laval Kings's goalkeeper Trevor Hess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laverne Théberge scored 1-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Hess, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, MyLittleBuenosAires's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Allred came free, but Gonzalo German reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kyle Dickey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Laval Kings defense, Del Dubeau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trevor Hess. The Laval Kings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trevor Hess should have stopped the shot. Irwin Bryant took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Hess. Trevor Hess dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Irwin Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trevor Hess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laverne Théberge in the 79th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Darin Allred dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonzalo German, 3-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Darin Allred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laval Kings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darin Allred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laval Kings's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
