Jarrett McNamara hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, cemelin's Tracey Bertrand got a free kick in the 20th minute. Clark Goss made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Laverne Théberge sent off a good shot on target. Irwin Bryant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Clark Goss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irwin Bryant in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clark Goss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in cemelin's zone, Laverne Théberge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Goss came out of the goal and Laverne Théberge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irwin Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nathanial Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo German made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett McNamara in the 42nd minute of play. Jarrett McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominick Mercier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gonzalo German tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52nd play minutes Irwin Bryant shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Clark Goss and just under the crossbar into goal. MyLittleBuenosAires's Gonzalo German proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save MyLittleBuenosAires from getting a goal against them. Laverne Théberge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Clark Goss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Del Dubeau struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Clark Goss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MyLittleBuenosAires. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laverne Théberge in the 74th minute of play forced cemelin's goalkeeper Clark Goss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irwin Bryant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clark Goss having to interfere. The MyLittleBuenosAires fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when MyLittleBuenosAires's Irwin Bryant looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute of the match Sal Whalen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clark Goss skillfully saved the ball. cemelin's Clark Goss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laverne Théberge in the 85th minute of play. Jarrett McNamara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Gonzalo German made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarrett McNamara got free with Gonzalo German in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in cemelin's zone, Irwin Bryant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clark Goss came out of the goal and Irwin Bryant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. cemelin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
