Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erwin Dawkins made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Erwin Dawkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juste McClure. Inuvik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erwin Dawkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Dawkins in the 6th minute of play forced Inuvik FC's goalkeeper Juste McClure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Erwin Dawkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torbay's supporters rose to their feet, but Erwin Dawkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juste McClure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neville Davenport took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Cantrell. Sergio Cantrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Juste McClure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Dawkins in the 17th minute of play. Neville Davenport fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Cantrell having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Torbay's zone, Neville Davenport stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Cantrell came out of the goal and Neville Davenport tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irvin Sandoval hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Rico Goodson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sergio Cantrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inuvik FC. Irvin Sandoval kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Neville Davenport managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inuvik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neville Davenport was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rico Goodson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Inuvik FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rico Goodson couldn't finish the play. Freeman Stratton's late challenge caught a Inuvik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freeman Stratton helped the player get up and apologised. Freeman Stratton kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Jermaine Newman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inuvik FC and the Torbay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Jermaine Newman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Larivière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Inuvik FC booed when Torbay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay Bruneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Erwin Dawkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rico Goodson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Torbay getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Archie Carver hit a great ball. Sergio Cantrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neville Davenport in the 60th minute of play. Max Larivière struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Juste McClure didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torbay. 71 minutes into the match, Inuvik FC's goalkeeper Juste McClure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Larivière. With a little luck, Inuvik FC's Juste McClure got control of the ball when Max Larivière tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Inuvik FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ross Langelier hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Numbers Posey managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Erwin Dawkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Juste McClure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Torbay's Erwin Dawkins dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Juste McClure showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Dawkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
