Dominick Migneault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Trevor Hess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lemuel Childs kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clément Goldsmith in the 14th minute of play forced Laval Kings's goalkeeper Trevor Hess to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Lemuel Childs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Darin Allred kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Camp. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Clément Goldsmith scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Hess, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgar Faucher hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Darin Allred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Camp having to interfere. Bernard Camp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darin Allred in the 35th minute of the match. Darin Allred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Clément Goldsmith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trevor Hess. Laval Kings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clément Goldsmith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Dominick Migneault made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Hobbema got a freekick which was hit by Hilaire Dodge. Lemuel Childs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bernard Camp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Clément Goldsmith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hobbema's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clément Goldsmith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Hobbema getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Conrad Cooke hit a great ball. Trevor Hess made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Clément Goldsmith sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Laval Kings's Lemuel Childs got a free kick in the 76th minute. Waylon Horne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernard Camp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Dominick Migneault got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 92 minutes into the game, Hobbema's Clément Goldsmith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trevor Hess made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Laval Kings lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
