Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Laval Kings's Trevor Hess got control of the ball when Miguel Walton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Walton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trevor Hess. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 12th minute, Ron Shoemaker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bonarlaw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Trevor Hess made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Holliday in the 15th minute of play. Trevor Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphaël Lowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marvin White fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laval Kings's protests and gave Marvin White a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bonarlaw booed when Laval Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marvin White didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trevor Hess made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Van Abraham sent off a good shot on target. Laval Kings's Trevor Hess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Holliday in the 24th minute of play. Trevor Hess took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Holliday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes, Lemuel Childs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laval Kings and the Bonarlaw players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Laval Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lemuel Childs to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Isreal McManus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonarlaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Isreal McManus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trevor Hess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Laval Kings getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lemuel Childs hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Miguel Walton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bonarlaw's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Walton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trevor Hess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isreal McManus's late challenge caught a Laval Kings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isreal McManus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Isreal McManus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darin Allred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Houston having to interfere. The throw-in from Waylon Horne in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bonarlaw's Van Abraham. After 40 played minutes Laval Kings got a freekick which was hit by Monty Cote. Trevor Hess made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Miguel Walton sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Laval Kings's goalkeeper Trevor Hess had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ron Shoemaker. In the 45th minute Lance Holliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Hess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darin Allred to strike the kick off in the second half. After recieving a nice pass, Bonarlaw's Miguel Walton tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Isreal McManus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Hess saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Miguel Walton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laval Kings's Trevor Hess played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Holliday in the 63rd minute of play. Trevor Hess showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armand Oconnor, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Laval Kings's Darin Allred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rob Houston narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laval Kings's Darin Allred got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
